 I am honored to be your representative on the Texas State Republican Executive Committee. I serve on two Committees within the SREC. First, I am serving on the Party’s Redistricting Committee. I am excited to be watching closely, along with you, the reallocation of the four new United States Congressional Districts, the shifts in the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate Districts. I also am serving on Party Organization, Voter Registration Subcommittee. I requested to serve on this committee because of my interest in having a secure, honest voting system. The SREC meets as a whole in Austin only four times a year, but our work goes on all the time. We have tele-townhall meetings once a month that includes the County Republican Chairmen and other Republican leaders from our State and Nation. While the Legislature is in session, I go to Austin frequently. The Redistricting Committee will be meeting with lawmakers monthly during the Legislative session.
